WorshipWe gather weekly for worship at 10:00am. Our services seek to ground Scriptural study within the context of our everyday lives. We look to the teachings of the Hebrew Bible and New Testament to provide guidance, relevance, and spiritual renewal in our diverse, ever-changing world.
We worship in prayer and song. Congregation members, young and old, participate as lay readers and liturgists. Our children have a special time in worship before heading off to Church School. We share our joys and our sorrows in worship, and when we return home, it is with an inner peace, a full heart, and a renewed spirit. We’ll provide you with a bulletin which makes it easy to follow the service. In worship, it’s OK to laugh and do playful things – we’re very child friendly – while still being drawn into deeper levels of thought and faith. We invite you to join us some Sunday morning. We’re just east of Waukegan Road on North Avenue. Parking is behind the church. We're fully accessible. Church School meets between Labor Day and Memorial Day. We offer nursery care as needed. Plan to stay for fellowship immediately following worship. Welcome! |
